Essntl Media is a creative agency built for businesses that want to look legit, stand out online and actually get results. Not just “nice videos”.

I’m Ashton the founder of Essntl Media, a 28 year old from Wellington, New Zealand. Now based on the sunny Gold Coast in Australia. Essntl Media was created in 2020 when I decided to leave my job which I hated and pusure something which I was actually passionate about and I have been doing this ever since.

My obsession with cameras started when I was a teenager and I’ve been creating content ever since. What began as a creative outlet for me has turned into a full time career. For the last five years, I’ve worked professionally across industries like automotive, sports, real estate, events, tourism, weddings, podcasts, branded content and much more. Helping people and businesses tell better stories through content.

On top of all this I’ve also grown my own social media to over 50,000 followers, building an audience by creating content that connects, not just performs. Along the way, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest brands in New Zealand, delivering content that drives real results.

I’m not just here to film. I’m here to create content that cuts through the noise, leaves an impression and elevates the people and brands behind it.
